Secondary School Takes One Step Further Towards EU
The Austrian School in Prague is currently hosting an exhibition of artwork from various bilingual secondary schools from across Europe, in the hope of achieving greater cross-cultural understanding between EU and EU candidate countries. Housed in the former residence of King Jiri of Podebrady, the first instalment of a three year project will be on show until the end of January. Radio Prague's Pavla Navratilova talked to the organiser of this year's event, Manfred Martin, who explained how the idea had come about.
This exhibition, labelled The Colours of the Past, features artwork from schools in Romania, Austria, and the Czech Republic, and is the first of three international art projects. Zuzana Mickova, one of the students from the Austrian School in Prague, explained the goals of this and future exhibits. And you can see "The Colours of the Past" at the Austrian School until the 28th of January.
