Decathlete Roman Sebrle has taken the gold in the heptathlon at the European Indoor Athletics Championships in Vienna. Fellow Czech Tomas Dvorak came second. Sebrle had been hoping to set a new points record in the heptathlon, as he did last year in the decathlete, but it wasn't to be. "I didn't have that little bit of luck, especially on the first day," said Sebrle afterwards. Sebrle and Dvorak were the only Czech medal winners in Vienna.
