Russian illusions of invasion with impunity shattered, Zelensky tells Prague summit
Speaking to a conference in Prague, Ukraine’s president, Volodymr Zelensky, said Russia originally believed it could invade his country with impunity, but those illusions are now shattered. The Ukrainian leader made the comment in a video address to the Crimea Platform international summit, which this year was taking place in the Czech capital.
Mr. Zelensky told delegates that the international community must focus on preventing the circumvention of anti-Russian sanctions and also called for the continued supply of arms and ammunition to Ukraine.
He said the only thing that could satisfy his people was a complete withdrawal from Ukrainian territory by the Russians.
