Russia closes its airspace to Czech, Polish and Bulgarian flights
Russia has closed its airspace to flights from the Czech Republic, Poland and Bulgaria in retaliation for a similar ban from the three countries on Friday. The Baltic States have agreed on similar action and are expected to make a joint announcement in the hours to come. Great Britain closed its airspace to Russian flights on Thursday, on the first day of the invasion into Ukraine. Russia’s retaliatory action will complicate travel for people heading to Asian states.
