Record temperatures reached at several parts of Czechia

Temperature records for September 9 fell at nine monitoring stations around Czechia on Saturday. The highest temperature for that day was registered in Prague’s district of Komořany, where it reached 30.4 degrees Celsius.

Temperatures of around 30 degrees are expected to last until Tuesday. The second part of the work week is expected to be overcast and cooler, but the following weekend will see clear skies again with temperatures reaching 27 degrees Celsius.
