August weather traditionally entices people to go swimming. The biggest natural lakes in the Czech Republic can be found in Šumava. Tell us the name of the largest of them.

The correct answer for August

Černé jezero (Black Lake) – with an area of 18.4 hectares, this lake is situated close to the municipality of Železná ruda at an altitude of 1008 metres above sea level. The depth of the lake reaches up to 40.6 metres in some places, which also makes it the deepest non-karst lake in the country.
