Prague metro line B closed between Florenc and Vysočanská this weekend

Metro service on Prague’s line B is suspended this weekend between Florenc and Vysočanská due to reconstruction of Českomoravská station. Instead, a replacement tram line XB and extra train service S2X connect the affected area. Trains run on a single track between Vysočanská and Černý Most, requiring passengers to change at Hloubětín. The metro will resume full service on Monday morning. The Českomoravská station, originally expected to reopen by the end of 2024, will remain closed until early next year after inspections revealed its structural condition was worse than anticipated.
