Prague Council to replace collapsed Barrandov Bridge sculpture

Prague Council has decided to replace a well-known sculpture from the city’s Barrandov Bridge with a copy. The eight-metre high work Rovnovaha (Balance), which was created by sculptor Josef Klimeš and installed in 1990, collapsed last week.

Councillor Tomáš Slabihoudek told reporters that the city had a precise 3D scan of the cast reinforced concrete sculpture that could be used to create a replica.
