Prague can start building new bridge across Vltava River
Prague has obtained a final building permit for the Dvorecký Bridge, which will connect Smíchov with the Yellow spa on the right bank of the Vltava River. The bridge will be used mainly for public transport, including trams, pedestrians, cyclists and the integrated rescue system. According to the tender, approved last year, the construction of the bridge should cost around 972 million crowns, but it is possible that the cost will be higher due to the soaring inflation. Construction work is expected to start this year.
