Prague Airport passenger numbers rise nearly six percent

Prague's Václav Havel Airport handled more than 8.2 million passengers in the first half of the year, almost six percent more than during the same period last year. The United Kingdom remained the most popular destination from Prague, followed by Italy and Spain. Cargo traffic also grew strongly, rising by more than one third, while aircraft movements increased by over four percent. The airport is aiming to serve 18.9 million passengers this year, after coming close to its pre-pandemic record in 2025.
