Poll: trust in politicians up at the end of 2022
A new survey by the CVVM agency suggests that Czechs’ trust in the political representatives slightly increased at the end of last year. However, they still earned trust of less than 40 percent of the population.
According to the survey, President Miloš Zeman was trusted by 38 percent of respondents, deputies received a 34 percent backing and trust in the cabinet reached 33 percent.
Local government officials - mayors and municipal councils – traditionally enjoy the highest backing of around 70 percent. The overall satisfaction with the political situation remains low.
