Plzeň flies historic flag of Belarus in support of protestors

Plzeň City Hall has decided to fly the historic white-red-white flag of Belarus on the city’s central Republic square, the Czech News Agency reported on Saturday. The flag was put up by Plzeň Mayor Martin Baxa and his deputy, Michal Vozuble, in support of the citizens of Belarus protesting the results of last week’s presidential election in the country. Mayor Baxa said the flag will fly for a week.
