Over 700 sites across Czechia taking part in this year's European Herritage Days

More than 700 heritage sites across the Czech Republic will take part in this year’s European Herritage Days programme - a joint action of the Council of Europe and the European Commission involving all 50 signatory states of the European Cultural Convention. The largest selection of open sites in the country can be found in the Central Bohemian region, which offers 124 open sites as part of this year’s programme.

The event, which annually revolves around opening the doors of various heritage sites across Europe to the public, was launched in Czechia this year in the Moravian City of Uherské Hradiště and will run until September 19.
