Over 38,000 Ukrainian refugees now registered with Czech foreign police
Roughly 5,400 Ukrainian refugees registered themselves with the Czech foreign police on Friday, bringing the total number of registrations since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine up to 38,505, according to Interior Ministry data. The head of the ministry, Vít Rakušan, said on Friday that there are already an estimated 50,000 Ukrainian refugees in Czechia. Most of them are arriving in Prague and Central Bohemia.
According to the UN, more than 1.2 million Ukrainians have fled the conflict so far.
