Over 275,000 Ukrainians now have special visas for CR

The Czech Republic has to date provided special visas to 276,657 refugees from Russia’s war on Ukraine, according to data from the Ministry of the Interior on Sunday. The number of people granted visas on Saturday, 2,340, was over 200 fewer than the same day a week earlier.

The visas allow Ukrainians to spend a year in the Czech Republic and give them access to health insurance, education and the labour market, while they also have a right to further assistance, including accommodation.
