Nearly 350,780 Ukrainian refugees now have special visas
The Czech Republic has to date provided special visas to 350,795 refugees from Russia’s war on Ukraine, according to data from the Ministry of the Interior on Sunday. Some 493 people were granted visas on Saturday, about 50 percent fewer than on the same day a week ago.
The visas allow Ukrainians to spend a year in the Czech Republic and give them access to health insurance, education and the labour market, while they also have a right to further assistance, including accommodation.
