Open House Prague festival pays tribute to Slovene architect Jože Plečnik
This Monday sees the opening of the 8th annual architecture festival Open House Prague. The week-long festival is paying tribute to Slovene architect Jože Plečnik, who left an indelible mark on some of the Czech capital’s most famous landmarks.
Aside from a wide range of concerts, lectures, debates and exhibits, organisers of the festival hope to attract visitors by an open doors event this weekend, which will see more than a hundred normally inaccessible buildings in the Czech capital open up for visitors.
