Day of Architecture gets underway across Czechia and Slovakia

The annual Day of Architecture gets underway in the Czech Republic and Slovakia on Friday. Some 80 Czech and Slovak towns and cities are taking part in this year’s 11th edition, which highlights the 150th anniversary of the birth of Czech architect Jan Kotěra.

The event, which runs until October 7th, opens a number of buildings normally inaccessible to the public and offers walking as well as biking tours and a various lectures focusing on architecture.
