Supreme Administrative Court receives 16 complaints over Senate elections
The Czech Supreme Administrative Court has received 16 complaints and petitions concerning this month’s Senate elections. Among them is a submission from Radek Černý (Civic Democrats, ODS), who missed out on advancing to the second round in the Žďár nad Sázavou constituency by just one vote. The court announced the figure on Friday after the ten-day deadline for challenging election results in 22 constituencies expired at 4 p.m. The court’s electoral panel, chaired by Judge Vojtěch Šimíček, must rule on all complaints by November 19.
