Kneblová takes silver in kayakcross World Cup final

Czech canoeist Tereza Kneblová finished second in kayakcross at the World Cup final in La Seu d’Urgell on Sunday, securing sixth place overall in the series. The 23-year-old won three medals at the Olympic course used for the 1992 Barcelona Games, also taking silver in Thursday’s kayakcross time trial and bronze in the canoe event on Saturday.

Kneblová lost only to Britain’s Kimberley Woods in the final, having faced her in all four knockout rounds. Andorra’s Mónica Dòria finished third, while fourth place was enough for France’s Camille Prigent to secure the overall World Cup title.
