Terezín exhibition showcases award-winning student artwork

A special exhibition has opened at the Ghetto Museum in Terezín, showcasing a selection of award-winning artworks submitted by primary and secondary school students to the Terezín Memorial's art competition over the past 30 years.

Almost 12,500 works have been entered in the competition during that time. The exhibition's educator, Silvie Holubová, says the competition aims to remind people of what happened during the Second World War, which is important as discrimination against different groups of people continues to recur.

The selection of award-winning works will be on display in the cinema foyer at the Ghetto Museum until the end of October.
