Nosková reaches career best world ranking of sixth

Czech tennis player Linda Nosková has risen to sixth in the women’s singles world rankings, the highest placing in her career. The 21-year-old Wimbledon champion is one rung above her compatriot Karolína Muchová.

The world number one in women’s doubles is Kateřina Siniaková. Meanwhile, after a win in Cincinnati, Linda Nosková has climbed to 36th in the doubles rankings, while her partner Marie Bouzková is 40th.
