Minister fined over conflict of interest disclosure

Czech Regional Development Minister Zuzana Mrázová (ANO) has been fined for breaching the country's conflict of interest law, according to Seznam Zprávy. The news website reports that she failed to disclose a family loan used to buy land in the town of Bílina in her 2024 asset declaration, despite later publicly saying that relatives had lent her the money. The fine, imposed by the city of Most, is not yet final, and Mrázová has not said whether she will appeal. The maximum penalty under the law is 50,000 crowns.
