Babiš sits with Zelenskyy at NATO summit opening dinner

PM Andrej Babiš was seated alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at Tuesday's informal working dinner that opened the NATO summit in Ankara. Also at the table were Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda, and Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev.

The NATO summit traditionally begins with an informal dinner at the presidential palace, providing heads of state and government with an opportunity to exchange views before the main negotiations begin.

Czech President Petr Pavel also attended the dinner. He was seated with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal, Croatian President Zoran Milanović, and Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever. According to the Office of the President of the Republic, their discussion focused primarily on the situation in the Balkans and the Baltic region.
