Czech PM cautiously welcomes US-Iran agreement to end war

Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO) has cautiously welcomed an agreement between the United States and Iran aimed at ending the war between the two countries.

In a statement to the Czech News Agency, Babiš said there was still some way to go before the agreement is formally signed, but expressed hope that its terms would be respected and that the conflict would come to a definitive end.

"Finally good news. For now, I prefer to remain cautious because there is still some way to go from an agreement to a signature, but I hope that all the conditions will be respected, that the conflict will definitively end, and that the situation in the Middle East will return to normal," Babiš said.
