Taiwan drone exports surge, with Czech Republic as top destination
The volume of drone exports from Taiwan in the first quarter exceeded $115 million (about CZK 2.38 billion) and was higher than the total for the whole of last year. By far the largest share was shipped to the Czech Republic, according to data from Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), as reported by Focus Taiwan. Last year, Poland was the biggest buyer of Taiwanese drones.
From January to March, Taiwan exported complete drones worth $115.85 million. According to the MOEA, this is about 1.2 times the total recorded for the entire year of 2025.
Exports to the Czech Republic accounted for roughly $100 million, significantly surpassing other markets. Poland purchased drones worth about $11.75 million in the first quarter.
