Pro-Palestinian march passes through central Prague

Several dozen people joined a pro-Palestinian march through central Prague on Sunday. Demonstrators walked from Náměstí Republiky across Charles Bridge to Kampa, waving Palestinian flags and chanting slogans such as “Free Palestine.”

The march was organised by the Friends of Palestine association and other groups to mark Palestinian Land Day. Participants gathered shortly before 2 p.m. and set off about half an hour later, heading through the city centre. The event ended in the afternoon.
