Prague’s Vltava Day offers free boat rides and entry to landmarks

Prague’s annual Vltava Day on Sunday is offering free boat rides, admission to historic and technical landmarks, and a wide range of activities mainly aimed at families with children. The ninth edition of the event, organised by the Vševltavský spolek association, is taking place at dozens of sites across the city, especially along the river, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors can enjoy free cruises from Holešovice and Na Františku, sightseeing trips to Čertovka, and selected ferries. Free entry is also available to sites including the Old Town Bridge Tower, the Charles Bridge Museum, the old wastewater treatment plant in Bubeneč, and other river-related attractions.
