Czech hockey stars shine despite Boston loss in NHL action
Czech players took centre stage in the latest round of NHL games, with David Pastrňák and Pavel Zacha scoring all of Boston’s goals in a 3–4 overtime loss to New Jersey. Pastrňák netted twice and was named the game’s second star, while Zacha added another goal as the Bruins secured a point. Elsewhere, Martin Nečas recorded his 50th assist of the season for Colorado, underlining his strong form despite a heavy defeat to Pittsburgh. Goaltender Vítek Vaněček also impressed, making 27 saves to help Utah beat Dallas 6–3. Czech players were once again among the key contributors across the league.
