Four planes to fly Czechs home from Oman, says PM Babiš

Four aircraft operated by Smartwings company will depart for Oman on Monday to bring Czech citizens home, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO) said. Three planes will head to Muscat and one to Salalah. Each Boeing 737 Max can carry up to 189 passengers, offering a total of 756 seats. According to Babiš, around 650 of the 6,650 Czechs registered in the Drozd travel system have expressed interest in repatriation. Flights to Israel and the United Arab Emirates remain suspended due to closed airspace. The government is also ready to deploy a Casa military aircraft if needed.
