Czech women’s hockey team loses to US in Olympic hockey opener

The Czech women’s ice hockey team opened the Olympic tournament in Milan with a 1–5 loss to heavily favoured US team. The only Czech goal against the reigning world champions was scored on a breakaway by 19-year-old forward Barbora Juříčková after she returned from the penalty box.
