Pupils and students received mid-year school reports
More than one million primary school pupils and around 515,000 secondary school students across Czechia received their mid-year school reports on Thursday. Among them are nearly 120,000 first-graders, who are getting their first formal assessment of schoolwork. Pupils will have a one-day mid-term holiday on Friday, followed in some districts by week-long spring holidays. Education Minister Robert Plaga of the ANO party is handing out reports at a secondary school in Kladno. Schools issue report extracts at mid-year, with full certificates given at the end of the school year.
