Senate speaker calls for trust in Advent address

Senate Speaker Miloš Vystrčil called for building trust as the foundation of a functioning society in his Advent address on Thursday. He said this requires respectful dialogue, mutual listening and a willingness to reach agreements. According to Vystrčil, a society without trust is destined for poverty, disintegration or loss of freedom. He described Czechia as a beautiful, safe and free country, ranking among the world’s 15 safest states, one of the least indebted in the EU, with an economy and real wages that are growing.
