Police find over 80 million crowns in cash at railways chief Svoboda’s home

Czech police uncovered more than 80 million crowns in cash at the home of Jiří Svoboda, the head of the Railway Administration. The money, stored in a private safe, was found during a raid by the National Centre for Organised Crime as part of an investigation into major contracts awarded by the Railway Administration and the Road and Motorway Directorate. Officers also discovered a collection of luxury watches.
