Dočkalová and Panzenberger win Thalia Awards for best Czech dramatic performances

Actress Tereza Dočkalová won this year’s Thalia Award for best female performance in drama for her portrayal of Olja in the play "Máma" at Prague’s Divadlo pod Palmovkou. The award for best male performance went to Petr Panzenberger from Studio G in Ostrava for his role as Roman in Perníkář. The award for young talent under 33 was presented to actor Viktor Zavadil. Other nominees in the drama category included Denisa Barešová for Madame Bovary at the National Theatre and Andrea Elsnerová for Hana at the Vinohrady Theatre. Among the men, Marcel Rošetzký and Tomáš Šulaj were also nominated.
