Last chance to see Lucy and Selam fossils at Prague’s National Museum

Thursday is the last chance to see the 3.2-million-year-old fossils of early human ancestors Lucy and Selam at Prague’s National Museum.

The fossils, among the world’s most valuable and oldest paleoanthropological finds, were loaned from Ethiopia’s National Museum and have been on show since August 25. It’s the first time they’ve ever been displayed in Europe.

Because of the huge public interest, the museum introduced timed tickets and extended opening hours. Visitor numbers haven’t yet been released.
