Prague’s Yellow Spa to open “Heart of Europe” light park

The Žluté lázně (Yellow Spa) riverside area in Prague’s Podolí district will once again host a light exhibition on its premises, a popular annual event held from the end of October to the end of January. Titled Heart of Europe, the illuminated trail will guide visitors across the continent’s history, from ancient temples and medieval cathedrals to modern landmarks. Among the 250 light installations representing nine European countries are the Roman Colosseum, Athens’ Acropolis, London’s Big Ben and Tower Bridge, Barcelona’s Sagrada Família, Dutch windmills, Paris’s Eiffel Tower and Prague Castle. The exhibition was half a year in the making and is due to open on October 31.
