President Pavel and former Georgian president to speak at Forum 2000

President Petr Pavel and former Georgian president Salome Zurabishvili are among the main speakers at this year’s Forum 2000 international conference, which runs in Prague until Tuesday. The 29th edition focuses on Ukraine, technology, and strengthening democratic ties at a time of rising authoritarianism and disinformation. Other Czech speakers include Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský (SPOLU), Minister for European Affairs Martin Dvořák (STAN), and former lower house speaker Markéta Pekarová Adamová (TOP09). Forum 2000 was founded in 1997 by then-president Václav Havel, writer Elie Wiesel, and Japanese philanthropist Yohei Sasakawa to promote dialogue on global challenges.
