Experts say coalition talks remain focused on ANO party, SPD and Motorists' party

Despite the controversy over alleged past remarks by Filip Turek, honorary president of the Motorists' party and possible foreign minister, coalition talks remain centered on the ANO party, Freedom and Direct Democracy (SPD) party, and the Motorists' party. Other parties are waiting on the sidelines. Political scientist Milan Školník said it is up to the Motorists' party to show responsibility and maturity in the talks. Josef Mlejnek from Charles University noted that President Petr Pavel will play a key role in appointing the new cabinet and may find reasons to reject Turek’s nomination.
