Czechia and 16 other countries issue statement on combating migration

Seventeen European states, including the Czech Republic, plan to jointly promote measures against migrant smugglers, strengthen border protection, and reform asylum legislation. They announced this in a joint statement published at the conclusion of today’s summit of the European Political Community (EPC) in Copenhagen. Prime Minister Petr Fiala (Spolu) wrote on X that this represents a successful continuation of building a strong coalition of countries against migration.
