Protesters urge president to respect the outcome of general elections

Several hundred people gathered outside Prague Castle on Saturday afternoon to urge the president to respect the outcome of the upcoming general elections. The demonstration was organized by the group Svatopluk, which is close to the anti-EU, anti-migrant Freedom and Direct Democracy party (SPD) and the Stačilo! grouping. The rally came in response to recent remarks by President Petr Pavel, who warned against a possible populist drift after the elections in connection with the aforementioned parties.
