STEM poll: ANO maintains lead, Pirates gaining support

The opposition ANO party would currently win parliamentary elections with 31.3 percent of the vote, according to the latest STEM agency poll. The ruling Spolu coalition of Civic Democrats (ODS), TOP 09, and the Christian Democrats is second with 20.2 percent. The anti-EU, anti-NATO, Freedom and Direct Democracy party (SPD) placed third with 12.5 percent.

The Pirate Party has strengthened to reach a double-digit result and, like the Mayors and Independents (STAN), would secure 10 percent. The Stačilo! Grouping and and Motorists got 7.4 and 6 percent support respectively. No other party or grouping would cross the 5 percent threshold needed to win seats in the lower house. General elections are due to take place on October 3-4.
