Czechs least positive in their attitude toward EU, survey finds

Czechs hold the most critical view of the European Union among all member states, according to a newly-published Eurobarometer survey. Twenty-seven percent of respondents in the Czech Republic view the EU purely negatively, 37 percent neutrally, and only 35 percent wholly positively. Despite this, a strong majority of Czechs (85 percent) say they would like the EU to show greater unity in addressing global challenges. Sixty-five percent also support granting the Union additional tools to tackle such challenges.
