Czech parties draw ballot numbers for October elections

The State Electoral Commission has assigned ballot numbers to all 26 groups running in Czechia’s parliamentary elections on 3–4 October. Opposition ANO Party that is leading all pre-election polls will campaign under number 22, the Spolu coalition (Civic Democratic Party, Christian Democrats, TOP 09) under 11, Freedom and Direct Democracy Party under 6, Mayors and Independents under 23, and the Pirate Party under 16. The new left-wing movement Enough!, which includes Communists and Social Democrats, drew number 25. Numbers also determine the order of parties on the official election website and will feature prominently in campaigns. Smaller contenders include Oath with number 8 and Motorists with 20.
