President Pavel: Trump missed chance to pressure Russia

Czech head of state Petr Pavel regrets that US President Donald Trump did not use the opportunity of political and economic pressure on Russia to make concessions toward a peaceful resolution of the war in Ukraine. He said this in Monday's Facebook broadcast. As a positive sign, in light of Friday’s meeting between Trump and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Alaska, he noted that the leaders of the two strongest military powers at least met at all.
