Air Canada strike cancels two Prague–Toronto flights

Air Canada has cancelled two Saturday flights between Prague and Toronto due to a strike by its cabin crew, Prague Airport spokeswoman Denisa Hejtmánková said. The cancellations affect an arrival from Toronto at 12:10 and a departure back at 13:40. Overall, the airline plans to cancel about 500 flights, impacting an estimated 100,000 passengers. Air Canada halted operations entirely Friday morning, citing the complexity of its global network of more than 250 aircraft serving 65 countries. The strike, aimed at securing higher wages, prompted the Canadian government to urge both sides to resume negotiations.
