Ivana Gottová halts Karel Gott museum project in Prague for health reasons

Ivana Gottová has halted the Karel Gott museum project Villa Gott due to health and personal reasons, she announced on Facebook on Wednesday. The widow of the famous singer and her collaborators were planning to open it this year in a house on Prague’s Bertramka, where the legendary singer lived for years until his death in 2019.

"It is not in my nature to give up, but unfortunately I have to stop the Villa Gott project, as I originally planned it and dreamed it up for you, for health and personal reasons,” she stated in the post. Back in July, Ivana Gottová described on social media the preparations for a project that was to create an authentic place of memories of Karel Gott, his songs and life story in the Smíchov villa above Prague.
