Czechia set for sunny week ending with tropical heat

Czechia will enjoy a sunny week, peaking on Thursday and Friday with tropical temperatures, meteorologists say. Friday is expected to be one of the hottest days of the year, with highs of up to 37 °C in lowland areas, especially in South Moravia and the Elbe region. While mornings early in the week will be chilly, daily temperatures will steadily rise, reaching 34 °C by Wednesday. The heat will be accompanied by occasional showers or storms from Friday. A cold front over the weekend will bring cooler weather and more rainfall, though its exact timing remains uncertain.
