Czech construction output up by 14 percent in June

Construction output in the Czech Republic rose by 14 percent year-on-year in June, marking the eighth consecutive month of annual growth. The pace of expansion also accelerated from May’s 11.6 percent, according to data released by the Czech Statistics Office. Output in building construction increased by roughly 10 percent, while civil engineering projects saw a 20 percent rise. Compared to the previous month, overall construction activity was up by 2.6 percent.
