Central bank expected to keep interest rate unchanged amid inflation concerns
The Czech National Bank’s (ČNB) board is expected to leave its key interest rate unchanged at 3.5 percent at its upcoming meeting on Wednesday, according to analysts surveyed by the Czech News Agency. They cite persistent core inflation, the evolving trade dynamic between the EU and the United States, a steadily growing economy, and a sharp rise in property prices as key reasons for maintaining the current rate.
